Nashir - Temple Aliyah's Choir

The NASHIR choir is the new singing group organized by, and under the leadership, of Cantor Bogomolni.

NASHIR is the Hebrew word for “Let us sing.” In its first year, the group sings at services and events at Temple Aliyah and around the greater Boston area.

NASHIR welcomes new singers to join, with all levels of experience.The ability to read music is helpful but not required. Cantor G posts mp3 music files of individual parts to the web site, for listening or downloading, to help singers learn their parts. Rehearsals are held about every other week through the year, usually becoming weekly in the time before an event.

You may join the group “for the long haul” or for only one program or event. All you need is the love of singing and the willingness to participate. If you are interested, please contact Cantor Gaston.
