“Keeper of the Flame” 2003 The Temple Aliyah Men’s Club is honoring Murray Davidson as its 2003 Keeper of the Flame. This honor reflects Murray’s long-time support for Temple, Minyan, and Brotherhood activities. Murray will be presented his award on Sunday, October 26, 2003, at Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody, in a gala evening in which fourteen men from Temples around New England will be so honored. We promise a very enjoyable event starting at 5:30 pm with wine and hors d’oeuvres, followed by minch / maariv and Award presentations, then by a classic “New York Deli” dinner at about 7:30 pm, so that you can head home by 9:00. Pricing for the event is $35 per person and $65 per couple; children are invited at $10 each. Seating is limited to 300, so please be sure to make your reservation. We hope to have a large TA contingency to show our support and appreciation for all the selfless work Murray has done for us for so many years. You must reply by October 6, 2003, in order to ensure a space. A tribute book is being assembled with proceeds going to support regional Men’s Club acticities.
