Goals of the Committee
- To strengthen our congregation's connection (kesher) with the
land and peope of Israel.
- To provide spiritual and political support to the Masorti (Conservative)
movement in Israel.
Committee Programs
- Help support those in need in Israel as a result of the recent
violence through a direct connection to a family, via the “Adopt-a-Family”
program.
- Build a relationship with and support our sister congregation
in Kiryat Bialak (near Haifa), the Masorti Congregation of the
Krayot. (Krayot, meaning “towns” or “suburbs,”
is the suburban region near Haifa.) You can help support our sister

- Help the Israeli economy through the promotion of the purchase
of Israeli products.
- Host Israeli speakers at Temple Aliyah.
- Create opportunities for personal correspondence with Israeli
families.
- Provide resources and offer classes for those wanting to learn
more about culture, life, and politics in Israel.
- Promote travel to Israel
