We are excited to have Alana Tilman as our Junior USY and Kamida advisor this year.

Alana is a senior at Brandeis University studying Psychology and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies and hopes to pursue a future in Informal Jewish Education. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Alana grew up as an active participant in her Conservative synagogue (Beth Sholom, the same synagogue where Rabbi Perkins grew up!) and USY region. She spent many summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos as both a camper and counselor. Most recently, Alana spent the past semester studying at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and remained in Israel to travel the country as a madrichah (counselor) on the Ramah Israel Seminar, including a meaningful week in Poland. Alana is thrilled to be joining the community at Temple Aliyah and is excited to be working with Kadima and Junior USY!
