High Holidays

Join in the fun for Young Family High Holiday Services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  We will be celebrating with singing, marching, stories, and puppets in a family-friendly service format.

Rosh Hashanah

          Saturday, September 22                4:15 pm

There is no fee for attending the Tot High Holiday services, however, registration is requested in order to accommodate all who wish to attend.

Friday Night Tot Shabbat

At the end of a busy week, reconnect with your family and make new friends.  Our program includes singing, stories and a short service to welcome Shabbat followed by a family- friendly Kosher dinner.  All services begin at 6:15 pm.

October 26 – Come meet a Torah Scribe and join in a community-wide dinner

April 4
Registration is requested for the service and paid reservations are required for dinners.

Shabbat Morning Children’s Services

Services are fun for our youngest members with singing, marching, activities, and prayers.  Shabbat Yeladim services start at 11am and always finish in time for the Congregational Kiddush. We meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of most months.  Families are always welcome to stay for Kiddush.

Have fun with your young children learning about the holidays with stories, puppets, activities, singing and age appropriate crafts.

“Music with Margie” Series

Come sing, dance, march, and make music with your child.  Music teacher Margie Brodsky leads parents and kids (0-3) in classic children’s songs as well as some favorite Jewish melodies.  A great way to meet other children and parents or caregivers, classes meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:15-5:00pm. 

Fall Series (6 classes): October 14 – December 2 (no classes November 11 or November 25)
Spring Series (6 classes): March 2- April 6

Registration is required.  Members: $36; Non-Members $72

Father’s Day Sing-Along Brunch

Holiday School

Preschool-aged children love to go “by themselves” to learn about the holidays with songs, crafts and stories. Leave your child in an environment that is safe, secure and Jewish. Holiday School meets one Sunday afternoon a month 3:30-5:00pm.  Many Holiday School sessions overlap with Temple Tot’s programs allowing your “big” kid to go to Holiday School and you to be at the Temple with your “little” kid. $100 for the year. Shabbat Babysitting

Enjoy the adult services...children 2 and up can play in the staffed babysitting room on Saturday mornings from 10am—12pm.  Free, no registration required.

High Holiday Babysitting

Synagogue members with High Holiday tickets can take advantage of Sisterhood’s babysitting program for children 2 through Pre-K. Children enjoy age-appropriate activities and stories.  Registration is required along with a small fee. Contact Jessica Hamermesh at 781-453-2889 or  jhamermesh@rcn.com for more information.
