    Best wishes for 5764!

The entire staff, officers, and Board of Trustees of Temple Aliyah wish all the members of our community a year of health, peace, and fulfillment.

May this coming year be one of study, service to the community, and good deeds for all of us.

Need to check out the High Holiday schedule of services and programs? Can’t remember what time Tashlich is, or when Babysitting ends, or when we blow the shofar? Click here.

The High Holiday Booklet is on-line. The on-line version actually has some updates and corrections to the printed version, including the Readers and Leaders, and the Acknowledgments pages. Also, we apologize to those few members who received copies of the booklet in which a few pages were duplicated and others omitted. You can see those “missing” pages here.

Please also note that for security purposes and to facilitate the comings-and-goings of our many congregants and friends and to
make things easier for our ushers, we will be requiring every adult to show a ticket for entry to the building. Please remember to bring your tickets with you each time you come for services.

Please remember also that to assist with parking management, we are requiring that you place one of the parking “permits” that were enclosed with your mailing on the driver’s side of the dashboard of your car.

Please also be especially careful to observe and respect all “no parking” areas. It is very important that we maintain access for emergency vehicles should the need arise. Please take special care parking on both Carleton Drive and Pine Street. For safety reasons, cars may be parked on only one side of the road. Improperly parked vehicles will be ticketed by the Needham Police. We thank you for your consideration in these matters.

And lastly, please keep in mind the annual Erev Yom Kippur Paper Bag Food Drive for Family Table as you come to services Sunday evening, October 5th. This year we are responsible for donations of canned soup and tuna. Other kosher non-perishable items are also accepted. Our teens will collect the food and deliver it to Family Table as one of their social action projects.
