  • HIGH HOLIDAYS
  •

Shanah tovah to all, and gmar hatimah tovah!

Thanks to all for helping make our Rosh Hashanah services run so smoothly. We look forward to seeing you again on Yom Kippur.

Click here to see a complete schedule of the High Holiday services.

You can read the High Holiday booklet online in pdf format.

Please remember for Kol Nidre that we are having our annual paper bag drive to support Family Table. This year we have been asked to collect soup (canned or dry packages) and tuna, but any non-perishable kosher goods will be accepted. Bring your bags with you before services, and they will be collected by our USYers, who will deliver them after Yom Tov.

If you would like to join us at the end of Ne’ilah for the final tekiah gedolah of the shofar, please bring your shofar along, and we’ll meet toward the end of services on the bimah, where our chief baal tekiah Harvey Tabachnick will direct us.

The Temple Aliyah Men’s Club is honoring Murray Davidson as its 2003 Keeper of the Flame. This honor reflects Murray’s long-time support for Temple, Minyan, and Brotherhood activities. Murray will be presented his award on Sunday, October 26, 2003, at Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody, in a gala evening in which fourteen men from Temples around New England will be so honored. We are hoping to have a large contingency of TA members join us for this event.

A special mailing has been sent to all Men’s Club members. You can find our more about this important event by checking out the web site, or by emailing Steve Baum.
