Temple Aliyah AUCTION - November 6
By the first weekend in November, the World Series will be over, and so will the Presidential election. What in the world will you do to maintain that level of excitement in your life???

Reserve that Saturday night for the TA Auction, our major fundraiser for the year! You’ll not only be helping the Temple, you’ll also have a load of fun, and you’ll be able to leave with some great items. In fact, this event is so great, it has been endorsed by both candidates:

Cast your vote for a financially strong Temple Aliyah! Support the Auction!

Reserve the date for an evening of fun, food, and camaraderie!

(image adapted from Gary Varvel, Indianapolis Star-News)

We are still looking for terrific auction items. Can you donate...A Car? A Yacht? A Vacation Package? What about... Tickets to the Theatre or Sporting Events? A Gift Certificate? Personal Services?
Can’t do this?? Then become a... Benefactor $250 ~ Patron $180 ~ Sponsor $100 (includes admission fee to the auction for 2, valued at $18 each)

Check out the flier on the web site for more information and a donation form.

If you have an item to donate, would like to be a sponsor, or would like to help our committee in any way (we need lots of people to help with decorations, set-up, food, registration, etc), please contact either Barbara Pearlstein or Nancy Rashap.

Israel Trip 2005 — planning meeting on October 24
    Let’s Go to Israel…..
Even Madonna (aka Esther) said she felt “very safe and very welcome” in Israel. Now it’s your turn to go! 17 people have already signed up to travel on the Temple Aliyah educational trip to Israel in February 2005. The trip is in the “commitment and sign up” stage of planning. Reservation forms are due by October 31st.

Why go to Israel in February? Your neighbors will be shoveling snow in Needham — we will be on the beach in Eilat. Your family will be bundled up at home in Needham — we will be strolling Ben Yehudah Street in Jerusalem. And we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Yad Vashem, spend the night in Tzefat, and enjoy countless memories. We will visit ancient ruins, sleep in the desert, and visit The High Court, the most internationally famous modern building in Israel.

Our tour director Yitzhak Sokoloff will visit us here in Needham on Sunday, October 24th. Everyone is invited to join us for a meeting at 7:00 pm at the Temple. Make the commitment and sign up for this incredible trip to Israel. No one belongs in Israel more than you. Please contact Lesli Reich with even the smallest question at 781-455-8185 or leslireich@rcn.com.
