  • MAZAL TOV
  •

Three of our young men who grew up and became Bar Mitzvah here at Temple Aliyah are engaged! Mazal tov to:

    • Gerry and Mimi Rovner, on the engagement of their son Joshua to Christine Kucia.
    • Herb and Bonnie Shuer, on the engagement of their son Lee to Rebecca Belofsky.
    • and Dan and Evvy Teres, on the engagement of their son Jeremy to Alison Friedberg.
  • PROJECT MANNA THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT 4/28 - DON’T MISS IT!
  •

You just gotta come to this! Twelve members of the TA community—Rachel Abramson, Steve Baum, Lisa Bello, Margie Brodsky, Gil Brodsky, Ethan Fener, Nancy Finn, Fredie Kaye, Nancy Rashap, Dawn Ringel, Dick Schoeller, and Seth Stadfeld—will be participating with members of other area choirs in the 15th annual Project Manna Concert, this Wednesday evening, April 28th, at 7:30 pm, at Temple Emanuel (385 Ward Street) in Newton.

We just returned home from our final rehearsal, and we are going to blow the roof off the shul! We will be singing with the choirs from Temple Emanuel, Temple Emeth, and Ohabei Shalom, as well as the Mystic Chorale, the Boston Community Choir, and the Mass. Ave. Baptist Choir, singing a repertoire of mostly gospel music, along with some modern Jewish material.

Proceeds from the program support Project Manna, which provides over 10,000 meals annually to those in need. Tickets are $20 at the door.

We guarantee you won’t be able to sit still—you’ll be snapping your fingers, clapping your hands, stamping your feet, and dancing in the aisles.
