  • CONGREGATIONAL TRIP TO ISRAEL - FEBRUARY 2005
  •

At long last the date has been set: February 16-27, 2005. Plans are underway, and a great itinerary is in the works for the second Temple Aliyah Israel Trip, which will coincide with February school vacation week. A large number of people attended the information session held in May, and it would be really wonderful if we could get a group of 40 people to travel with us to Israel. If you previously attended the information session and would like to hear the update, or if you are now interested because the earlier tentative December date did not fit into your year end plans, please come to the next information session on Wednesday, June 30 at 7:45 pm at the Temple. If you have any questions or are unable to make the meeting, please contact Lesli Reich at leslireich@rcn.com or 781-455-8185.

  • HELP PLAN OUR FUNDRAISER
  •

It’s time to start thinking about the major fundraiser for the upcoming fiscal year, which will be held in November, 2004. We are starting to plan now with a brainstorming session.  If you are interested in helping out or have some ideas for a fun event, please join us on Thursday, July 1 at 7:30 pm at the home of Nancy Rashap, 24 Fair Oaks Park in Needham.  If you are unable to attend but would like to be involved, please contact Nancy at najora@aol.com.

  • HIGH HOLIDAYS
  •

Write for us: We are still looking for new material for our High Holiday booklet. One of the things we would like to include is personal recollections and reflections about the Holidays from members of our own congregation. So please write out for us your favorite childhood yom tov memory, or a family tradition, or a song you sang, or even a great holiday recipe—it doesn't have to be long, even one paragraph up to several paragraphs will do—and email them to us.

Also, if you are at all interested in learning about participating in the High Holiday services, you have the opportunity to do so this summer. We will have lessons on High Holiday Torah reading trope and on blowing the shofar, so if you have any interest in either of these, please email Gil Brodsky.

  • SUMMER HOURS
