Her primary responsibilities as Director are to create and oversee social and educational programming for all synagogue members, and working with our professional and administrative staff and lay leaders to develop, implement, and coordinate programming initiatives in creative and innovative ways.  She will also help us "link silos" by coordinating programs for all synagogue families, ranging demographically from preschool families to adult learners.

Ellyn is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received a Masters of Jewish Education from Hebrew College.  She has held a number of religious education and youth programming positions at various area synagogues and schools, including Congregation Beth Israel in Worcester, Worcester Community Hebrew High School, Temple Beth Avodah in Newton, The Rashi School, and Congregation B'nai Shalom in Westborough.  She is an active volunteer with many community organizations, including the Pan Mass Challenge, Clark University Hillel, Birthday Wishes and others.
