Rabbi Jeffrey Summit is a nationally recognized, award winning author, lecturer,

ethnomusicologist and accomplished musician. He currently holds an appointment as Research Professor in the Department of Music and Judaic Studies at Tufts University. His CD, Abayudaya: Music from the Jewish People of Uganda” was nominated for a Grammy.

Rabbi Summit’s research and writing focus on music and identity, spiritual experience, advocacy and the impact of technology and the transmission of tradition.
