Temple Aliyah Healing Service

Temple Aliyah Healing Service

From the depths I call You, O Lord.

ממעמקים קראתיך ה׳ (Psalm 130)

The earth is breaking, breaking; the earth is crumbling, crumbling.

רעה התרעעה הארץ פור התפוררה ארץ (Isaiah 24:19)

Many of us are feeling battered by world events, saddened by personal loss, or

depleted by health challenges. Please consider Temple Aliyah’s next healing

service, Sunday, January 14 at 7pm.

If you are facing physical illness, mental illness, social-emotional challenges, or the

weight of caring for someone who is, this healing service may be for you. We will

gather in prayer, in contemplation and in song to cry out, to comfort and to

nourish one another. If your soul is in need of recharging for any reason please

join us.

While this service is open to any in the community, we gather notably in memory

of Jordan Bearak, who brought his beautiful soulful music to earlier healing

services. Along with our other prayers and readings we will have the opportunity

to hear one of Jordan’s original songs.

All are welcome. Come for an hour, come as you are, casual attire.

Oh Lord, hear my prayer; let my cry come before You. Do not hide Your face from

me in my time of trouble.

ה׳ שמעה תפילתי ושועתי אליך תבוא: אל תסתר ממני ביום צר לי

(Psalms 102:2-3)
