Happy Hanukkah!

Hanukkah begins the evening of Sunday, November 29th.

Brighter Revealed
Monday, November 29, 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Share the light of Hanukkah with your Temple Aliyah community with Brighter Revealed, an illuminated mobile art display! Drop in at Temple Aliyah to see Brighter Revealed in the back parking lot, next to the tent! This innovative project is the next phase of a series of Brighter installations created for the @JArtsBoston’s Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights celebration at the @mfaboston by artist Tova Speter. Incorporating artwork created by students and community partners throughout the Greater Boston area, this large-scale beacon will bring vibrant color to the community.

Temple Tots PJ Havdalah & Candle Lighting|
Saturday, December 4, 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Join us at Temple Aliyah for PJ Havdalah! We will celebrate havdalah to mark the end of Shabbat, as well as Hanukkah in our comfy pajamas, featuring live music by Josh Shriber. This event is for families with children up to 8 years old. Hot chocolate will be served, and goodie bags will be available for pickup prior to the event. We will be meeting outside, but in case of inclement weather we will send a Zoom link to all registered attendees. Click here to sign up!

Celebrate Community, Together: A Happy Hanukkah Happening
Sunday, December 5, 2:00 pm
Let’s gather together and celebrate our community. We deserve it! Stop by for an afternoon of socializing, a time to see people in real life and not just in a Zoom box. Come and enjoy live music by the Zach Mayer Band, coffee and cocoa from Espresso Dave, dessert, community menorah lighting, and most of all, friendship. Bundle up since we hope to be in the tent for part of the day. But if it’s too cold, we’ll move everything indoors. Following the Temple’s health protocols, masks and proof of vaccinations required for all adults.
