"A person is known by three names: the name given by one's parents, the name given by one's friends and the name one has earned." Kohelet Rabbah 7:1:3

Teacher. Advisor. Role Model. Friend. In his 31 years of service to the Temple Aliyah community, Rabbi Carl M Perkins has played
many diverse and meaningful roles in our lives. This tribute weekend is a joyous opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation for all he has done for us as individuals, for our congregation, and for our community.

This weekend gives us three spirited opportunities to celebrate Rabbi Perkins' 31 years at Temple Aliyah. On Shabbat join our community and Rabbi Perkins along with special guests and a sumptuous Kiddush followed by Kiddush Conversation with Rabbi Perkins and Susan Kesner. Sunday afternoon 2:00 - 4:00 pm is a family fun day outside with music, ice cream, waffles, giant lawn games and more! Sunday evening is our chance to schmooze and nosh beginning at 7:00 pm! At 7:30 we will offer gifts and a toast before moving into the Sanctuary for a very special and moving community tribute.  See you there!
