A warning about Email Scams: Unfortunately, organizations like ours occasionally suffer from email scams. These are usually outside email accounts posing as members of the aliyah staff, rather than someone who has “hacked” into our actual email accounts. Please do not fall for these scams!
No one from Temple Aliyah will ever ask you for giftcards via email! If you do get these scam messages, there are a few ways to tell that it’s not really us: 1) They’re from made up external email accounts. 2) They’re so rude! We would say “please.” 3) Poor or nonsensical grammar. 4) Sketchy delivery instructions. Watch out for scams, and if you’re ever unsure, call and talk to a real person in the office!
