Max Davis, New Rabbinic Intern
We’re delighted to welcome Max Davis to our community as our new rabbinic intern this year! A fifth-year rabbinical student at Hebrew College and a Chicago native, Max brings over 15 years of experience as a spiritual leader and educator. He’s most recently served as a rabbinic intern at Congregation Shirat Hayam and the Jewish Community of Amherst. Max is passionate about helping people connect daily life with meaningful spiritual practice.
You’ll have many chances to get to know Max throughout the year. He’ll be with us at least once a month for Shabbat, where he’ll help lead services and share the dvar Torah. He’s also launching a new adult education class, “Beyond Holidays 101,” that explores the deeper meanings and practices behind the holidays we celebrate. In addition, Max will be teaching in our middle school program, Mercaz Aliyah.
