Staying Connected is Temple Aliyah’s social group for those who are 55+. We sponsor activities throughout the year that focus on maintaining our connection to Temple Aliyah as well as welcoming new Temple members in our age cohort. Some of our events include a Rosh Hashanah Wine & Cheese gathering; attending Boston-area theater; walking tours of Jewish Boston; Temple Aliyah showings of Israeli-themed movies in collaboration with Israel Kesher; hosting our Staying Connected Shabbat Dinner and Speaker; and organizing a SC Fun night in the Fall such as Progressive Dinner and Trivia Night.
Staying Connected also co-sponsors TA programs that focus on the 55+ age group, such as promoting The Conversation Project and end of life information sessions, The Wise Aging Project, and the Grandparenting Program. Whether you’re a long-time Temple member or brand new to our community, we look forward to meeting you! We welcome new ideas and participation, and look forward to staying connected with you at Temple Aliyah! All of our events are open to Adults of all ages.
